Harbinger of Books

This story is about a one night stand that is so much more. When Sara has her one night stand with Luke she thinks she will never see him again (then again maybe not) but anyway he so completed her and she completed him. BUT love was not to be why you ask well you see Sara is an awesome lawyer and just got promoted to the supernatural justice league that she did not even know existed. Luke on the other hand has been arrested for murder. You can guess what happens next Sara must now prosecute Luke.

There are some good things about this book and that was the whole legal side. I love law and order so this worked for me. The writing is not bad but it was confusing. This reads more like dark urban fantasy than PNR which was fine.

What was not fines was that I never felt a connection between Luke and Sarah and quite honestly I did not care. Luke killed his daughter...then there is the graphic detail on the murder of children and honestly that just did not work for me. Plus it was a lot of people doing a lot of stuff from a lot of point of views.
