We all have different hobbies in life but my absolute favorite thing to do is pick up a book. This blog is dedicated to all of my ramblings.
There are not many series books that just keep getting better but Rachel Morgan (or the Hallows) certainly does. This is one of my favorite series and the latest installment The Undead Pool did not disappoint in any way.
Rachel has been guarding Trent for the past three months on a daily basis and all those emotions they thought they could avoid, well it is not going away and it is time to make a decision. That decision though has to wait at the city seems to be experiencing a series of misfired charms and master vampires in a deep sleep.
One of the things I have always loved about the series is Rachel sometimes she is such a mess you want to throttle her and other times you just want to hug her. While Rachel has grown up she has not totally changed and it was cool to see how others support her and watching her deal with that.
This book is definitely racing towards the last book, some things are working out great like with David and his pack but others left me sad like Rachel and Al. Then there are bigger questions like recognizing the garden is no longer overflowing with Pixies and choices are being made that have significant repercussions.
If you are a fan of this series you need to read this book and if you have not read it well what are you waiting for?
