It has been sometime since I read [b:Secrets of a Summer Night|114162|Secrets of a Summer Night (Wallflowers, #1)|Lisa Kleypas|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1298443922s/114162.jpg|760678].
This is the story of the fiesty American heiress, Lillian and Lord Marcus Westcliff. Due to the gap in between reading the first story there is quite a bit I have forgotten, however I remember enough.
This is supposed to be a story where two strong willed people fall in love, and I am not sure why but that did not quite work out for me. I guess it was because I did not ever see their common points it seemed like they bickered and then it was lust at first sight. The last third of the book redeemed a lot and is what made this one three stars.
Having said that the story is sweet and I wished the rake had not been involved in such a nefarious plot. And the drunken sex was well kind of sad, the writing was beautiful but she was drunk come on??
Cute story though just felt a little to formulaic.
