Never Seduce a Scot - Maya Banks The King wants peace and to get it he is determined to end a long running feud between two of the biggest yet most loyal clans, the Armstrong's and the Montgomery's though marriage. Graeme is the laird for the Montgomery's he tries to do what is best for his people and his King. Eveline Armstrong on the other hand has suffered a terrible accident and she allows people to believe she is 'daft'. Yet when Graeme and Eveline meet they both have an unexpected opportunity to actually fall in love and end a feud.

I read [b:Highlander Most Wanted|13457423|Highlander Most Wanted (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #2)|Maya Banks|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1339473081s/13457423.jpg|18986972] first and I was dying to see how Graeme met Eveline. This story did not disappoint. I loved that Eveline was deaf and could not read or write, for me this is new territory in historical romance. She is a great heroine, she has awesome spunk and her spirit was just great. When she finally had her breakdown it almost broke my heart (metaphorically speaking).
I also love that Graeme figured it out, it was also quite sweet how he found himself attracted to her but unsure since should could be 'daft'.

Even though I knew how things would work out it did not make the book any less. I thought the twists and turns were well done and the plot moved nicely.
