Harbinger of Books

Iris is the concierge to vampires in Half Moon Hallow this means she does all the things vampires cannot do in the day time, event planning. delivering blood, shipping packages, etc. On top of running her business she is the guardian to her sister and she is trying to manager her on/off again relationship with an ex boyfriend. Then one day Iris is in the middle of her very long to do list when she trips over Calix also known as Cal. Cal is a vampire, he has come to Half Moon Hallow to investigate a series of unprovoked vampire attacks on humans. The problem is Cal has been poisoned and needs to hide from everyone. The unwilling Iris agrees to host him for a week for a small fee. BUT Cal thinks humans are worthless and Iris thinks vampire are one step away from ripping her throat out. Iris and Cal have to figure out how to get beyond their issues.

We first meet Iris in [b:Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors|10797909|Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors (Jane Jameson, #4)|Molly Harper|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1315533031s/10797909.jpg|15710600] as she helps Jane get through her wedding nuptials. I really enjoyed this book it was lighthearted and funny. The writing is smooth all of the way through and the mystery who is behind the poisoning was good.

I listened to this book on audio, it was narrated by Amanda Ronconi and she is fantastic!
