Lust Unleashed (Night Seekers, #1) - Desiree Holt People are dying in a very horrific manner and no one knows if the killer is a human or animal. But a small group of people called the Night Seekers know the killer is a beast called the Chupacbra and they are determined to track it down and destroy it before it kills again. Lust Unleashed is the first book in the Night Seekers series. Jonah Grey is a werewolf who has agreed to leave the FBI and join the Night Seeks with the single goal of destroying the Chupacbra who murdered his mate. On his search for the beast he meets a woman, Dakota a loner who cannot quite find her place in the world. When Jonah meets Dakota he learns that his heart which he though dead is revived and Dakota finds a place where she fits.

Sometimes erotic books are not all that interesting but this was not the case in this story. I was actually interested in the myth of the Chupacabra and I wanted to figure out what it is and why it needs to murder people. I also liked the relationship between Jonah and Dakota they were both really open to each other which made for just enough complexity to keep it interesting. I also enjoyed the secondary characters and I cannot wait to see what happens to them next.

The only downside to the book is sometimes the plot feels to rushed, I think the entire book happens in like three or four days. And while we are introduced to the characters slowly I still kept getting people confused. Overall a solid book and I would give it 3 ½ stars.
