Deadlocked - Charlaine Harris I thought I would have quit this series by now but hope that Sookie may be back to her normal self had me reaching for the book in the library. After reading this story I find it is very difficult for me to say what it was really about. Honestly I think perhaps Ms. Harris is also tired of writing about Sookie I mean I have pages and pages of what should I do today. Oh I know sun bath, go to the grocery store instead of Walmart, go to work at the bar or check in at the bar. I mean it is nice to see these mundane things when people are trying to solve a mystery. Instead characters come up to Sookie and tell her what is happening. I also get it Ms. Harris does not like Sookie and Eric ok fine but really there is no sex in this book, I mean is anyone physically attracted to anyone?? To say it a different way what happened to Eric? He has always been like Mr Romance but now that he is with Sookie he is like Mr Winer...plus when has he ever shied away from a conversation or Sookie for that matter it seems talking or working things out is never going to happen.

Anyway the best part about the book is the story line with the fae and even that felt a little anti-climatic.

Here is to hoping the last book will bring back the characters we all love.
