Harbinger of Books

This book picks up about two months after [b:Third Grave Dead Ahead|12043770|Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson #3)|Darynda Jones|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1310823404s/12043770.jpg|15899099] and Charley is not back to her usual self. In fact she has been hiding in her apartment self medicating with the home shopping channel. But Charley cannot hid forever and so she takes a case that sends her back out into the world of cold cases and demons.

I like seeing the vulnerable side of Charley and while she was sarcastic as ever this time she seem to feel and she has to learn how to manage her fear. The lovely Reyes is back and he too is different this time around. It seems no one was unscathed by Earl and people have choices to make. The best thing about this latest installment is that we start to get a better view of the world and we get a little insight into what is coming.
