Harbinger of Books

Clearly I am in the minority here but I thought the book was good not great.
I really did not like Ana and I had a hard time understanding why Ash liked her so. I mean she treated him like crap no I will not be seen at a ball with you but screw you in the closet heck yeah.
I found myself more interested in the relationship between the two brothers than our hero and heroine. I think Ms. Milan is a great writer and the idea the reading disability was interesting but I think it was all a little two real. I do not read historical romance for an actual taste of life in 1837 so I guess that is just me. Not a bad read just not great either.
