Harbinger of Books

This series is starting to fall into a rotation.
Alpha species guy wants to control wanna-be weak human woman. Male is concerned with hurting the frail woman, wanting to convince the human she is his mate, etc. Meanwhile she is lonely, petite and mouthy, yet she is sympathetic to all the drugging, sexual abuse and tests run in the lab. This one is no different. It was a bit of a bummer because Brawn was portrayed differently in Valiant. Becky was meh...far to mouthy at times then far to weak at others.

I like the series and I keep hoping this couple will be different but they are not. I wish we got to see more of the past characters and I am hoping we will get to see a species mating or at least one with the species female.
