Harbinger of Books

This story is about Justice and Jessie. Justice is the leader of the New Species and Jessie is the daughter of a powerful Senator who has made the New Species his 'pet project'.

This one was ok but in a lot of way disappointing. Personally it was a little close to another book about humans that have been genetically modified. I mean come on we have a Political family...reluctant leader of his people...heroine had a brother...betrayed by his people...that really took it down a notch. The other big issue was with Justice himself, really you want to hide your human girlfriend, I dunno I just expected more. Plus some of his actions seemed like something Slade, Fury or Valiant would do...I guess that speaks more to the fact that there Alpha Males are blending together. I kept hoping that Jessie would leave and go home then he would have been forced to turn tail. I did like Jessie I thought she was a great heroine and I really liked that she could defend herself in a believable way, BUT her reactions seemed off to someone who has lived in the limelight as a Senators daughter. Oh one other theme that is getting old is the "I will hurt you" yeah well this is like the fourth relationship come on look around and get a new line.

My last complaint is this one is more expensive than the others. Luckily I borrowed it but still.
