Harbinger of Books

Slade was an interesting read. The book is about Slade (#215) and Trisha who meets Slade when the New Species first come out and later when she becomes the doctor for the New Species. The book is a solid read and it moves fast. We are introduced to new characters as well as seeing a few from prior books. The thing that kept this from being a five star rating was the relationship between the Doc and Slade, on one hand it is intense and passionate but on the other it is like WTH? In my opinion some of the issues really are not resolved like they were in the the first book. All in all I would say it should be 3 1/2 stars.
