Harbinger of Books

This was one of the most disappointing books I have read in a long time. I love Kresley Cole and the Immortals series but this book was not for me. The first half no three quarters of the book consisted of lies, intrigue, pseudo-sex, more lies, more one-sided sex...retribution and more one-sided sex, etc. I could not figure out exactly what the plot was and I just did not like either character - Rydstrom nor Sabine which was a shame because I really thought Rydstrom would have this fantastic story. However in the two months later when I finally got to the end of this book I did not care what happened to either one. I plan to continue with this series and I assume this one was just not for me.
