Hounded - Kevin Hearne When I started this book i knew two things it was urban fantasy and it was about druid. Turns out the story is about a 2100 year old Druid who people think is 21. He is living life in peace as the owner of a new age bookstore in Arizona but the problem is he has a sword and well someone does not think that is a good idea.

I loved Atticus he is very funny and quite honorable. He has this great ability to make his point while showing respect even when he does not want too. I also loved the dog Oberon and I thought who better to keep a person grounded than a dog.

I think the pace of the book is good and there is a lot of action scenes but the consistent info dump became tiresome. It felt like every time we saw a new character we had a to have a summary of why this character is relevant. Another pet peeve was the narration for some reason it always felt like I was reading or hearing about this story I did not become emotionally involved in it. Mostly I think this is just the first book syndrome and I will read the next one.
