Harbinger of Books

I thought the first book in this series was fantastic the second one was just ok, but this one I like as much as the first!

Phoenix is the wing slayer who lives to be the short term hero. He is emotionally stunted and fears intimacy due to mistakes in his past. Ailish is an earth witch caught between a rock and a hard place she has been promised to a demon and either she can break the bond or die.

I liked that Ailish and Phoenix both feel like they are not relationship material and how they come together.
I also thought it was cool that Ailish is a blind kickboxer.

It is a fun book!
