Review for My Bluegrass Baby by Molly Haper

My Bluegrass Baby - Molly Harper

Sadie works for the Kentucky Tourism Commission and her life truly revolves around her job. She loves the people she works with and she loves working with people in the state. Now her dreams are about to come true because her director is preparing for retirement and Sadie is sure she has the job. Until Josh a real cute city boy comes in and threatens her future. Now Sadie and Josh are pitted against each other while they both try to compete for the same job...but it seems like under all that animosity there is a whole lot of attraction and sexual tension.

I read this using the whispersync between Amazon and Audible. Really worth the price!!

As always Amanda Ronconi does a fabulous job bring Molly Harpers words to life. I am a huge fan for both of these ladies and while I enjoyed the story I just did not love it. Yes the book has moments that are quite funny the love story never fully pans out and the relationship never really developed. There was also a bad guy but he was rather pointless. In the end it feels like the story meanders here and there then it is over. Think of this as a beach read or something light and fun after a stressful day.
