Review for Archangel Legion

Archangel's Legion - Nalini Singh

The fourth book in the Guild Hunter series did not disappoint!

What I really appreciate about this story is the imbalance of power between someone who has been around for centuries and someone who is not even 30.  Raphael and Elena continue to work towards their happily ever after and Raphael continues to be open to her way of thinking. I also though Jeffery had quite a story which partially explains why he is such an ass curious to me was why didn’t Raphael know that before hand?? Anyway I like that Elena will have a friend throughout eternity and a new guard totally cute how that worked out. In short the relationships in this book are amazing and what made the story.

The plot of the story is actually around angels falling from the sky and an infectious disease to the vampires along with a war. The best part about the story line is there really is a war YAY not some bs where it ends neatly. As interesting as it was it was there was still something missing. I was really hoping for a new enemy and I did not understand why other archangels were not interested in the battle seeing how there would be a significant shift in power. Little things like is why the book was a 4 in stead of a 5 for me. Another example is we learn a bit more about Illium and his love affair that grounded him but what does not make sense is why he would carry a torch for this kind of woman for decades or a century?? Or why no one was consulted with the arrival of the mark??

Still an awesome book and I highly enjoyed it !
