Review of How Beauty Loved the Beast

How Beauty Loved the Beast - Jax Garren

Sigh so sad my little trilogy is over but ah what a wonderful ride. For all of you romantics out there I just loved How Beauty Loved the Beast.

The third and final book of the trilogy takes place about two weeks after How Beauty Saved the Beast. Ok Hauk is still in the hospital and Jolie is trying to put her good training to use but things do not go exactly as planned. The Ananke is up to something big and members of the Underlight have been injected with an unknown substance for what seems like no reason.  Meanwhile at the end of the last book we started to get some progress between Jolie and Hauk but like every relationship it is hard there are set back and then change it was a rocky road.

This book moves a lot slower than the last two and it was sooo worth it. It really is about these two characters coming together and I for one was totally caught up in the relationship. Jolie is ready for Hauk all of him but emotionally she is not so ready to give but here is the odd thing she thinks she is. Then things happen and she starts to figure out she needs to do more…Hauk meanwhile is still not feeling so worthy he wants her so bad but he is so insecure about who he is and what he has to offer. I love that these actions are not contrived or blown out of proportion because it was so easy to be empathetic to be on either side. Sigh it really is a marvelous end to a magnificent story
