Harbinger of Books

Both Ben and Dave know they are supposed to be mated. Ben has stayed away from Dave for about nine years over a significant misunderstanding. Dave gets rather sick and decides he is tired of waiting for Ben it is time to move on at the same time someone finally feels the need to clue Ben in on what is really going on. So Dave is off to Disney during Gay Pride to find a new mate and Ben runs off behind him to try and save his relationship.

For the record Ben is a dumb ass wow what a friend let alone mate you think he is in trouble and instead of talking to your mate. Trying to help work it out you taunt and ignore him?  I digress I did like the story it was very cute but much too short for the price. It was almost like the author reached the word limit and thought great I am done. To give credit to the writing my biggest issue is how quickly things were resolved. Someone strung you along for 9 years and never once did they approach you with their fears or concerns or let you in? Just one conversation? Then you make up with a shirt?

This book is a stand alone but I think it works better if you have read some of the books from the Halle series.
