We all have different hobbies in life but my absolute favorite thing to do is pick up a book. This blog is dedicated to all of my ramblings.
Could not finish it
Lion's Blood is a book about slavery in an alternate America.
I like books that go with the "what if?" premise and the then author builds a story around an answer. So I went into this thinking oh this will be interesting.
The thing is the story is interesting but the subject matter was just to horrific. Which really does speak to Steven Barnes talent as a writer. But I could not get past it - to loose myself in the story so for me this was not pleasure reading.
